I visited while in Waco on business.
This taproom is laid out like traditional urban street-front bar. The building shows its 19th century heritage and the space seems only partially renovated. The taproom is mostly an empty space with some simple tables, a bar along a side wall and several TVs. The small production area is at the back of the room. Music was a bit loud, but it was a mix of 80s-00s Indie music that I enjoyed. The place was fairly full of what seemed like regulars on a Thursday night. They had 11 or 12 taps of their own beer. The ones I tried were solid but not outstanding. I did not try the food, so I can't comment on it. There was nothing wrong with Waco Ale Co., but among the downtown Waco breweries, I prefer Southern Roots and Pivovar over this.

Nice, downtown brewpub at Austin and 8th within walking distance of so many downtown attractions. They had 12 beers on tap from a wide variety, and the food is surprisingly good. Check them out and try all the brews!
