Coppery brown beer, with a generous, off-white head, very good to see, expecially on top.
The rauch effect is clear on the nose. Malt, a touch of caramel, perhaps nuts, but all of this is overshadowed by a distinct smokiness. The same notes on the palate, with a more pronounced chestnut.
The aftertaste is fairly long, still smoky, with a slight hazelnut note.
Clearly in style, pleasant, fresh. OK.
