From notes.
The beer comes served in a pint glass a nice dark black. The beer has been poured with with about a 1/4 inch head that had some staying power. Patchy lacing. The beer has somewhat of a roasted malt aroma coupled with a bitter earthy scent. The flavor of this is also slightly odd from what I have come to expect for a stout. There is some roasted malt (coffee, I think) but this is offset by a bitterness that is not welcome.
Don't let the name of this beer fool you. The beer is fairly light in body and a touch watery. A bit prickly on the toungue. It looks good, the scent is tolerable, and I can drink it. Not a very good beer, but the easiest of the Misty's brews for me to put down.
