In this Baltic Porter from Magic Road, the dark roasted malt is the focus. It gives a rich taste of dark chocolate, coffee and a touch of licorice.
The addition of oats gives a nice round mouthfeel that is very pleasant.

Copenhagen 14/5 2025. 44 cl can from Hos Rune Bottle Shop, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Red and orange can with a brown tsunami coming out of a Breakfast bowl.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small., light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin patches of foam flotation about. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a rich, roasted of dark malts mingling with motor oil and earthy fumes. Dark roasted malts toffee and caramel. Shop alcohol. Whiff of humid leather.
Light carbonation- Rather thick oily, viscous, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed a more moderate bitterness Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and a bit boozy.
Not a bad Breakfast.
