Poured from a crawler filled on 4-29-2023 and consumed on 5-4-2023
Dark brown pouring from the crawler. When I hold it up to the light, almost nothing shines through, I just get a faint amber look. The head is tan colored and 1 finger. The head retention is decent, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
Deep roasted chocolate nose.
The flavor is roasted chocolate. The chocolate is more of a dark chocolate rather than sweet, though there's a hint of sweetness here. Decent bitterness.
The body is quite good and full for a beer that's 5% ABV. Very smooth feeling.
Delicious beer overall.
