Copenhagen 29/3 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. An open mouth with very red and apparently very dry lips on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet malty odor soon overpowered by an earthy scent mingling with dry, bitter notes. Dark roasted malts, leather, tobacco and compost.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Lives up to its name by providing an absolute dry mouth.
