The sun is setting! The waves are quite higher than they need to be! That's when we open up a classic style, such as the Amber Lager. It puts everything at ease, easily. A solid maltbase, with a slight sweetness to it. Perfect wave quencher, ready for round two!

Copenhagen 13/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Label looks like an old-fashioned LP-record with yellow guy worshipping the sun.
Pours opaque, murky orange with a small white head. Disappears quite quickly leaving a brackish substance behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, lightly toasted malty odor. Caramel, toffee, sweet biscuits, toasted malts. Light yeasty touch of humid cellar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a toasted touch.
Ugly, malty and intense. Not bad.
