The classic English barleywine Intension, which is infused with honey. It is one half of “Joker and the thief”
You can expect a sweet barleywine, with notes of dried stone fruit and a little vinosity.

Copenhagen 23/3 2025. 44 ckl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. White can made out to look like a billboard for a concert.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a big off-white yellowish head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,1 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass.
Aroma is intense with a strong, sugary, vinous odor of malts and alcohol. Brown sugar, biscuits, honey in abundance. Sweet liqueur. Raisins and Plums. Marzipan. Whiff of citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit greasy, viscous, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, potent sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet but with a surprisingly strong bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is boozy and semi-dry.
A quote potent and boozy show.
