On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a hazy brown color with a tan head. The aroma is full of toffee and other malt notes, with not too much else going on.
The flavor is a little more complex than the aroma. I get a lot of the toffee and caramel from the aroma, but I also get a little bit of dark fruit and cherries, as well as some brown sugar. Unfortunately, the cherries give the beer a slight medicinal taste which isn't that appealing. The alcohol is well hidden.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A - 1/2" beige head. Decent retention and good lace. Dark brown with a little red showing against the light.
S - Sweet, sticky malt. Light chocolate. Alcohol.
T - Dark chocolate. Light roasted malt. Raisins (dark fruit). Bit of alcohol. Banana??!?! Slight earthiness apparent in the finish. Hint of coffee. All subtle and mellow malts.
M - Medium mouthfeel. Mid-level carbonation. Smooth and mellow.
D - Very nice. This is the best beer I have had so far from the Dodging Duck.

Quackinator is maple brown in color with nice, light brown head. The aroma is malty with a light chocolate smell. The taste is very malty just like it should be, flavor is primarily of dark chocolate with some breadiness. The 8% ABV is not noticable at all. Mouthfeel is very smooth which leads to a very high drinkability. I highly recommend Quackinator if it is availiable when you visit the Dodging Duck.
