Appearance - Sampled in a flight of four beers. This beer is brown colored and clear. It has no beer lacing.
Smell - The aroma of fresh ginger is prominent. There is a also a slight malty and chocolatey smell, but the hops are overridden by the ginger and malt.
Taste - Ginger blended with malt is the best way to describe the beer.
Mouthfeel - The body seems a little light. It is probably all right for a brown ale.
Drinkability - The beer is spicy, and it would pair nicely with spicy Asian food. I do not think this would make a good session beer.
Comments - The ginger takes this beer a little out of style, but it is still well-crafted. This beer is worth a try, but I think it does better as part of a meal than it does standing alone.that I would definitely want as part of a meal.
