Since this is named differently than the Darkwing Dunkel Wiezen that has been on tap before, I assume this is a different beer.
A - Pours up a clear, dark brown, with red highlights and a cap of off white bubbles.
S - Sweet malt, with some roast. I expected some banana notes, but didn't notice them.
T - Roast malts quickly over power the subtle banana notes. I would have like more banana. Kind of banana bread flavored. Not bad. But a bit a disappointing.
M - Good mouthfeel and carbonation.
D - I think it's a tad too roasty for a dunkelwiezen, but not bad.
