Bottle 0.33L.
Cloudy golden-to-amber body with a large, creamy, white head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing.
Moderate-to-heavy hoppy (flowers,, citrus, orange) and light malty (caramel, grains) aroma with notes of fruits (apricot).
Light-to-moderate bitter and sweet flavour; average-lasting bitterish finish.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation; light alcoholic warming in the finish.

Added by Act 25. 1st Review. Cartoon cover is a nun sushing. Only the 2nd beer listed for Abbaye d’Aywiers. [Aywiers Abbey (in some documents: Aywières ) was located on the Lasne River , in Couture-Saint-Germain , Belgium , in Walloon Brabant . It was an abbey of Cistercian nuns , the most famous of which was certainly the great medieval mystic , Saint Lutgarde of Tongres .]
a) Dark apricot gold hazed with mounds of lace and last.
s) Peach and orchard fruit, wood, grass.
t) Follows aroma, more church wood.
f) Lighter, fizzier, ala Abbey ales.
O) Sold but not near a LaChouffe or Chimay IPA.
Enjoyed in Rennes France, capital of Bretagne.
