Nov. 2014: 250 ml unfiltered bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy dark brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts, caramel and dust, hints of spices. Malty flavour, nice sweetness, caramel, brown kandij sugar and mild spices, slightly warming mouthfeel. Pleasant to drink.

Bottle vintage October 2008, purchased at the Zythos bierfestival earlier this year
A- pours deep reddish brown with one finger light tan head
S - fresh bread and holiday spices are very distinct
T - bready and caramely malts, cinnamon and nutmeg, some sweet woody flavours, small warm boozy note at the end
M - medium bodied, as expected from the style. Not much carbonation
O - overall a very very good beer; this is really an ideal christmas style beer to me with a great balance in the spices and malty flavours, and immediately feeling like a warming beer. I've had a few of these vintage bottles and they never dissapoint
