look: 2.5 | smell: 2.25 | taste: 2.75 | feel: 2.5 | overall: 2.5
golden our with lots of white head that retains well..
N: restrained. some malty and grainy notes with barley sugar, thin runny honey, earthy tones
Taste: creamy texture, not a lot of taste on the palate. it quickly fades into a earthy, barley sugary sweet finish. pretty meh

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.25
Amber orange color with a thick head with decent retention.
Mild aroma with notes of candied sugar, orange marmalade and mild herbaceous.
Flavor with notes of malt concentrate, sugar, oranges, honey and mild herbs. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Medium body with a mild carbonation that still gives a full filling. Alcohol of 8% could not be identified by no one.
Assertive Belgian Strong Blond with its sweet orange notes, without being really cloying. The label just says this has barley malt, yeast, water and hops, but it is hard to believe, it does not have any sugar added.

30th Jan 2014: one of five draft beers on a 'flight' at La Trappist, Brugge, you could have any five of the draft thirteen available for ten Euro's (0.2 litre glasses). So a litre of wonderful Belgian beers just for me!
Came almost clear: light amber with a good, lasting white head.
Fruity, yeasty and malty nose.
The taste was very similar to what the nose had prepared you for, light malts with a fruit feel along with a spicey yeastiness that told you this was a Belgian beer.
Easy to drink and refreshing, a good start to the flight of five
