Copenhagen 5/3 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. White Dog's usual can design with an intricate, psychedelic and crowded drawing in red, blue and white.
Pours opaque hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Not much lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with sharp citrus. Sweet mango and peach. Grapefruit and lemon. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Nice showcase of the tropical fruit basket.
