This is a very British looking place located on the main thoroughfare connecting Moscow's international airport to the center of town. The exterior store front is painted a rather odd looking robin's egg blue, but the inside is classic pub, designed in an L shape and seating about 75 people. The bar is fairly short, offering enough space for maybe eight stools. The decor is fairly plain, with illuminated globes and various Churchillian paraphrenalia, starting with a big portrait of the statesman staring at you as you walk through the door. I was there on a Sunday night at about 8:00 - didn't see any other customers.
There were about ten taps, offering nothing local. The line up included the usual suspects: Paulaner Weissbier, Hoegarden, Tetley's, Guinness, Kilkenny, Lapin Kulta, Foster's, Carling, plus something they call "Churchill's Ale". Nobody in the bar wanted to tell me where or by whom it was brewed. It was a passable bitter, but nothing truly intriguing. The Tetley's and Guinness were served nicely. Everything came in the correct glassware, with logos. Prices were quite high.
This place is not bad, but there are much better places to enjoy a beer in Moscow. In fact, there is one two blocks in either direction on the same street. I probably won't go again.
