Copenhagen 24/3 2024. 37,5 cl bottle from Beer Me web-shop. Off-white label with a blue hexagon.
Pours opaque murky brownish red with a small white head. Bubbly. Settled as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is rather intense with a very light sweet odor of ripe berries soon overpowered by a strong, sharp scent of unripe fruit with a touch of vinegar. Blueberries and apricot. Tart gooseberries, green grapes and a bit of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, a bit flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a mild sweeter followed by a strong acerbic sourness. Aftertaste is sour and sharp. Lingers for a bit. Finish is bone-dry.
Refreshing and sharp.
