Copenhagen 29/2 2024. 37,5 cl capped bottle with a cork from Beer Me webshoop. Off-white label with a red hexagon.
Pours opaque, murky burgundy with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Disappears leaving no trace of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe cherries soon overpowered by tart berries and citrus. Whiff of vinegar. Acidic and not especially sweet.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong acidic, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit austere. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A not too sweet take on a Kriek.
