Copenhagen 21/2 2024. 44 cl can from Beer Me web-shop. Black can with small golden hens in profile.

Pours opaque golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Overripe Mango, peach and alcohol. Lemon and lime.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.

Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Boozy undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Potent DIPA with a bitter streak.
