Corner store front brewpub in the downtown area. Straight bar perpendicular to the entrance on the left seats about 15 with additional seating about the room and on the sidewalk patio. A dozen beers on tap. Friendly bartender.

We haven’t been here since one week after the place opened several years ago — we liked it then, and we like it now.
Tables and a bar inside, and tables with umbrellas outside. Dog friendly both in and out.
Comfortable, relaxed, with music unobtrusively in the background easily permitting conversation.
Beer and food are both very good. Service is fast and friendly.
This Friday mid-to-late-afternoon shows plenty of customers without seeming overcrowded.
We’ll be back whenever we’re through Charleston.

I dig it. Hip, trendy, lively taproom in the heart of Charleston. I visited a few days before a major cycling event in the area, and it felt like the whole space was gearing up (pun intended) for the ride. Or perhaps they’re very much pro-bicycle in general. I felt like I could become a regular here.
Didn’t get a chance to eat on my visit, but they also have a fun menu of adult-themed grilled cheese sandwiches.

Newer addition to downtown Charleston. Parking is limited on street, and I mean limited. I typically park several blocks away down by the post office, especially if I’m driving the RV.
Small micro brewery close to the mall and shopping downtown. The beers are ok to good, 11 taps of varied styles. I like the Charlie West Coast IPA, but I’ve noticed variations in taste over time. Flights available. To go 4/pks in the cooler very reasonably priced.
The taproom is also a restaurant with seating at bar, spacious interior, and patio out in the alley walkway that connects downtown to the shopping mall plaza (very nice trees/decorations at Christmas!).
The food is bar bites, and variations on cheese sandwiches. My local friends like the food…me, it’s ok. I drink here and go to Black Sheep Brewing and Tacos two block walk away for lunch/dinner.
Fun vibe. Classic rock on sound system. Occasionally there’s live music. Service is order at the end of the bar which can be a bottleneck. Otherwise, one of the few places in town to get a decent beer.
