16 ounce cask pull into a willi becher at the brewery.
(Oysters in the mash according to the staff)
L: Almost black pour, only thin edges showing brown, 2 finger off-white creamy head, good retention, leaves patches of lace.
S: Chocolate malt and light roast.
T: Chocolate and caramel malt, some light roast, fairly dry with a bit of sweetness , mild bitterness, notes of umami and brine.
F: Medium bodied and smooth, slightly watery.
O: Very good stout, cask was probably a little past prime judging by the feel, betting it’s awesome when fresh.
