Another bier enjoyed during a 25JAN20 visit with daughter Caitlin. A 12oz pour was $7.00.
It was a deep, opaque brown, nearly black in color. Had a thin, beige, creamy head with solid lacing. Aroma was roasty, with malty choco action wafting about. Body was medium-plus, and there was little in the way of prickle.
Taste was also malty, with solid choco, coffee, and roasty notes. Had light florality in the finsih, with very little in the way of bitterness. Solid! Prosit!!
