12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Opened over the sink because the can was firm. Grossly overcarbed on pouring, so likely old. Took a while to fill. Pours moderately hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Great spotty soapy lacing and moderate streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas of stale C hops. Lots of red grapefruit and pine. Taste follows with red grapefruit, orange, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine, citrus rind, woody, spicy bitterness. Medium-high carb and medium body. Balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops mouthfeel. Long resinous drying finish, with minimal lingering hop astringency. Aggressive yet smooth. Tastes like all Columbus and Chinook hops after the unknown age. A really dank and earthy west coasty pale ale, not too bad considering it probably was in a fridge for over 2 years.

12 oz can from Lowes (supermarket) with a code but no date on the bottom.
Pours with an oversized, frothy head that reduces slowly, resembling a vanilla-rootbeer float for a while. The body is amber colored.
The aroma is strong for style with some dankness. The flavor follows with more bitterness and hop strength than expected for a Pale Ale, and it is way too dank.
Feel. Medium body and medium+ carbonation.
