From the fine people over at Lowe’s Foods (the grocery store, not the hardware store) where you can get drunk at the in store bar, this is Beer Den’s Robin Hood Amber Lager. It has a very orangey amber color, and tastes great. It tastes like being drunk inside a grocery store.

A: Pours clear medium to dark reddish amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate ruby red + garnet red + medium golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a small to medium sized patch of thin film covering a little more than 20% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted + bready + biscuit + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lager yeast and a light metallic aroma. Light aromas of spicy hops.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted + bready + biscuit + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of lager yeast and a slightly heavier than light metallic flavor. Finally there is a light to moderate flavor of spicy hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant easy drinking mouthfeel. Reasonably well balanced.

Drinking this at home.
Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Looks, this was interesting, the first can, nice foamy head that lasted, second can, flat head and little carbonation.
Smells malty, sweet, bready and lightly spicy.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a nice amber lager that I would definitely order again.

12 oz can from Lowe's, made for the store by nearby Thomas Creek Brewery.
Look. This pours with a clear, deep amber body that is topped by a creamy white head. The head has limited retention but leaves excellent lacing.
While this has a more hop dominated aroma than usual for the style, the flavor has a nice, true to style balance in which both grains and hops contribute to a pleasant drinking experience.
