From a 750ml crawler filled on 4-1-2025
This beer has a nice dark amber color to it and it is clear. There's a thick tan colored head to this beer. The head is somewhat fluffy looking and has decent retention. There's no lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The aroma hit me as I was pouring the beer into the glass. I just got a full on hit to my nose of caramel. Getting a closer look I am getting a good hit of caramel, as well as a slightly roasted tone to it.
Taste - Up front the beer has a caramel flavor. The caramel has some sweetness to it, but it is not offensive. This flavor lingers throughout the cycle. The finish has a slight bitterness to it. There's a slight roasted malt hint that also comes into play on the back, but it is very slight.
This beer really doesn't drink like 8%. The body is quite smooth and there's no burn to the beer at all. The body has a decent fullness to it.
This is a tasty beer and I'm so glad I bought a crawler to take home to try.
