Appearance - The beer was deep black with the thickness of used oil. Light carbonation crowned the glass.
Smell - Coconut was very apparent walking a line between cake and something artificial.
Taste - The profile was like a chocolate dipped macaroon. There was so much coconut, it was velvety, smooth. It brought to mind notes toasted coconut, coconut cookies, and bakers chocolate. Coconut notes lingered in the finish.
Mouthfeel - It would be misleading to suggest coconut oil, but the profile was almost oily in thickness.
Overall - This was an elite stout.
