Appearance - The beer was inky black and appearance with a few bubbles at the top of the pour.
Smell - The barrel presence was obvious, but the coconut was not so much.
Taste - Unlike the non-barrel aged version, the coconut was not as obvious. The beer was barrel forward with light notes of coconut. The barrel was quite strong, with a warming finish.
Mouthfeel - The body was slick and smooth.
Overall - I don’t the barrel aging improved this beer.
