Banana Pudding Nocte, a decadent sweet stout inspired by the classic dessert we all know and love. This rich, dessert-like stout is loaded with vanilla beans from Ecuador, Uganda, and Comoros, then finished with organic bananas to bring out the layers of creamy vanilla, soft banana sweetness, and deep roasted stout character. Think silky banana pudding in a glass with a smooth, indulgent finish.

4 oz. tap poured an opaque black with rapidly vanishing small head and no lacing. Smells of vanilla and chocolate. Aroma is the same, with noticeable bananas. Body is full with low carbonation and a smooth, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Taste is sweeter than I would like. I didn't notice any hop or coffee bitterness.

Appearance - The beer was a shiny, thick black color with carbonation swallowed up by the mass.

Smell - The nose was sweet banana-vanilla notes with roast chocolate malts.

Taste - When I had this on tap, I thought it was more vanilla forward. From the can, I got a lot more banana with a chocolate backbone, vanilla and banana were a smooth combination. It was just a bit herbal. I would love to add vanilla wafers to this beer.

Mouthfeel - The beer was thick without drinking like cement.

Overall - I really enjoyed this one. It was not overly sweet or thick.
