I was very impressed with their Helles, let's try their IPA. American IPA, my favourite kind of beer. Many Ukrainian IPA's often lack smoothness, and mouthfeel, and the hops are a little too funky and chaotic. Thanks for lisiting the hops types and for writing in English on the can.
Looks great and smooth head. Very similar to the Helles. Strong aromas of apricot and bitterness, exactly what I would hope for. Not overtly strong though.
Quite a pine coney flavour with citrus and apricot shining through. Tastes natural and pure. A little more tropical fruit would improve it even more. I think they also do a double IPA, I hope to find it somewhere soon. Feel is good but maybe a little thin, their Helles with the wheat somehow had a fuller and more creamy mouth feel.
Overall it is a great Ukrainian American IPA and still kind of light. Easy to drink fast and feels healthy and alive. Underwood are definitely my favourite Ukrainian brewers.
