Pint from draft for $7 at their small industrial space in North Park. Part of the lager movement where seemingly everyone makes stellar Pils now. Was the recipe hidden during the IPA era? Anyway, tasty stuff, pretty standard, quality malt bill. Would recommend!

On tap at Seek Beer in San Diego, CA.
This beer is about as German as Fritz Lang. And for those of you who don’t know, that means hella German. The only thing that would make it better is if it was served in a stein by a Fräulein in a busting corset.
Dream a little dream, my children.

Pours a clear golden amber with long-lasting sticky foam in the Aventinus Weizen glass. Pleasant grainy aroma with a whiff of alfalfa. Quite spritzy on the tongue. Warm and mellow with malt. A more substantial body than many Pilsners. On the bitter side of the spectrum. Flavors of browned biscuits and green herbs which grows stronger as you sip. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Not likely to be fresh, but quite a decent brew, if overly bitter. My first from this brewery.
