2d review by Act 25. Notable for creamy feel, apricot hazed body, original flavor. NJ Brewer.
a) Lots of lace about apricot nectar like body.
s) Ample stone fruit more than citrus.
t) Follows aroma with wine-like astringent lime on top of the full stone apricot fruit base.
f) The full flavor registers fullness in the mouth, nicely balanced.
o) So glad to meet this brewer and this flagship beer, look forward to their belgian strong blonde. With grilled salmon, asparagus, portobello lunch.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a dense, murky, pastel orange with minimal head and lacing. The nose offers bright citrus: lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, and just a whiff of stone fruit. Its taste doesn't quite measure up to the nose. There is tart, bitter grapefruit rind and lemon peel over a crackery malt base. It lacks balancing tropical fruit sweetness and in that sense is rather one dimensional. That said, the bitter citrus is quite refreshing. This ale is lite, crisp and well-carbonated, and it's an easy drinker at 6.3% ABV. Overall, A Hazy Place is decidedly tart and bitter. It provided a refreshing break to a busy afternoon.
