a: silky mixture of super dark brown and black. 1/2 finger dark tan head
s: leather, fig, molasses, raisins. cocoa powder, tobacco, brown sugar. lots of sweet malt and a hint of oak. some soy and cola as well at the end
t: dark caramel, fig, leather and some charred oak. bitter cocoa powder, molasses, toffee and a touch of alcohol
m: fuller side of medium mouthfeel with some moderately strong carbonation, stronger than i'd expect for the styel
o: a decent beer, but not as complex as i'd like for the style
