Poured from 330mL bottle into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 3/24/23.
Appearance: medium yellow-golden hue with a bit of haze and a thick head of fizzy ivory foam. It seems really strongly carbonated, but hey, it looks good!
Smell: richly malty with a slight sweetness and not much hoppiness. There's a whiff of skunk here, even though it's a brown bottle. Not bad, not great.
Taste: the malt has a rich flavor to it, which I like, but again this comes down as a bit sweet up front and just a tad skunky. That said, there's definitely some hop character here and bitterness at the end. A reasonably decent Euro pale lager.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a gigantic carbonation and a rich but ephemeral creaminess.
Overall: I'd say a moderately decent Euro pale lager. A step below the better craft lagers, and a step above most macros.
