Superior BW, thanks Ryan. From the Best in the West. Dark, lots of barrel pleasant aromas. Smooth, though boozy taste with coconut from the barrels. Glad I picked a cold note to warm up!

Poured from a waxed bottle at fridge temp. Pours a murky dark brown with minimal head. The nose is splendid. Bourbon, rye, booze, dark toffee, molasses, vanilla cupcake, and slight maple.
The taste is super intense. The extensive barrel aging comes through here. A tad boozy. The rye and cognac come through nicely. Dark fruit, toffee, figs, honey, vanilla, an oak bitterness. A note comes through that reminds of rum, although this wasn't aged in rum. The bourbon does come through, but I think it's a bit masked by the rye and cognac. A lot going on, and I'm loving every bit.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and the aftertaste is boozy toffee and sherry.
