Visited Two Rivers in Easton on 03JUN21. After lunch I snagged a 32oz crowler of this.... enjoyed it at "camp" at the Reading WWII Weekend on 04JUN21....
Poured a lovely, clear, chestnut-mahogany color. Had a frothy, beige head which lasted well and produced nice lacing. Had an inviting nose of semi-sweet caramel and toffee malts. It was solidly medium for the body, with a fairly smooth feel overall.
Flavor, like aroma, was malt heavy. Super flavors of toffee and caramel, plus some brown bread and brown sugar. The finish was smooth, with hints of floral hopping. A solid DBock! Prosit!!
