A lovely dark red, tinted black and brown, with a thin finger of near white head that's quick to dissipate. Sour aroma of cherries and wood. Extremely creamy, syrupy mouthfeel that sticks in the mouth long after swallowing. Hugely sour up front with a burst of cherry mid-palette and then more sour and wood in the aftertaste. Maybe a tad too much cherry and syrup. Interesting though.

Great collaboration brew between Two Rivers and Weyerbacher, the two Easton based breweries.
Poured into a standard pint glass, color is dark amber, opaque, head is light tan with about 1/2 inch presenting at first then dissipating to a ring with some lacing.
Smell is lightly tart, mild funk, lacto like notes, but solid malt backing. Very nice presentation of a light oud brune.
Taste is tart, light funk some mild horseblanket like off notes from the lacto, solid malt flavor, right between some roast and heavier toasted caramel - a nice touch. Fruits come through on the end of the tasting with raspberry most prominent in the flavor. That flavor is great with a mix of aged lacto, fresher fruit and smoothness of some oaky notes.
Mouthfeel is very pleasant, crisp, tart freshness with a nice lingering puckering quality.
Overall, this is a great beer, nice blend of flavors and a bit unique from other in this realm from the malt profile and fruit.
