Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Crystal clear light golden pour to start... some sediment at the finish. No head or lacing whatsoever.
S: White wine... grape must and oak. Fruity and a dash of funk.
T.F: Follows the nose. A nice mix of sweet and tart with strong chardonnay/white wine. Musty oak, pear, and grape juice. A bit of funk. Not overly acidic. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. More white wine at the finish.
O: A very tasty white wine barrel-aged brew. Complex, fruity, and drinkable. Glad I picked up a bottle on a visit to the brew pub.
