Our double oat IPA, kettle and double dry hopped with Kohatu, Wai-iti, and Idaho 7 hops. Juicy and hazy with flavors of peaches, ripe pineapples, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Named after the area along Northampton Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets which originally was a Pennsylvania Dutch community.

On draught at the brewery. 14 oz. pour in a snulip glass. It pours a hazy, bright tangerine color with a half finger of creamy, milk-white head and a creamy sheen of lacing. The smell includes lemon, lime, grapefruit, and soft floral hops. Its taste opens with tart lemon, lime, and grapefruit balanced by a creamy oat sweetness and notes of tangerine, ripe melon, and stone fruit. The Wai-iti hops give it a tropical feel while the Kohatu and Idaho 7 hops add subtle hints of pine and herbs. It's yeasty with moderate bitterness. The mouth feel is pleasantly creamy with appropriate carbonation, and it doesn't drink like 8.1% ABV. Overall, I enjoyed this ale on a hot summer afternoon. I'd love to try some of the other Dutchtown variants.
