I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark amber with tan ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had subtle sweet chocolate malt and bourbon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with semi sweet chocolate malt base with common Russian stout and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
