Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/28/23; the label calls this a "DDH Hazy IPA with Mosaic & Azacca".
Appearance: a hazy, light-yellow or even straw hue to the body, with two fingers of frothy ivory foam atop. Quite nice lookin'.
Smell: sweet and light with a nice melon-y aroma. There's a bit of juiciness here, which I like, even though the aroma's a bit subtle.
Taste: sweetish with some melon character and kind of a light herbal character. The bitterness is not necessarily high, but is kind of rough. It's not bad, although I'd like a little more depth of character or perhaps less harshness on the hops.
Mouthfeel: light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, not a bad beer, but also not without its flaws.
