Ya Fresh Ya Hop & Ya Don't Quit
Vice Beer

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light golden amber with a somewhat fizzy, three finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and fruity hops, lemon, melon, pear and passion fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, faint mixed fruit, some pine and a little dankness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Next up in the fresh hop array is my first from this brewery and it's a good one. I'm not sure I've had a Willamette single hop before, but it seems to be a good candidate. The flavors are kind of mellow but nicely integrated with the citrus and and mild fruit at first, but some nice dankness showing up and persisting in the finish with solid bitterness lingering. Once again, I have to add it to my list as one of the better ones this year, although that seems to apply to most of them…
