Brewed for the 6th anniversary of Bridge & Tunnel Bottleshop & Taproom in Astoria, OR
Take off, eh! This beer was brewed in 2B - 2 beers and it tastes great! It’s Canadian cuz we wore touks and talked about hockey and moose while we brewed it. So, drink up, you knobs!

i like that canadian lager as a style is making its way into craft, and while this isnt one of the best ive encountered, its solid, crushable, and somewhat distinctive as opposed to american adjunct types, feels slightly more crafty. also cool that it was made for bridge and tunnel, a great beer destination of the northwest that i have had the privilege of drinking at a handful of times, each of them memorable. yellow beer from the pint can, nearly an inch of snow white head that puffs up beautifully and sticks around, good carbonation too, racy, excited, indeed the texture is the best part of this, light without being thin, refreshing without trying too hard, very nice. the nose and taste are identical in this, pale malt forward, maybe a tad corny to me, middle sweetness but only for a flash, a little doughy with the yeast in the mix, obviously pretty well lagered, a touch soapy, raw, and perhaps with enough minerality to seem slightly metallic as it warms up a little, and it doesnt quite finish as clean and neutral as it could, but it has a certain coldness about it that i really like, indicative of the style when its well done, and its not particularly cheap to me, as these often can be. light on the hops but adequate for balance, and more or less a beer flavored beer that scratches that itch pretty effectively. would pair well with salty snacks, simple beer, decent.

Had this beer last night. Pours a clear light yellow with almost no head. The aroma is very light sweet malt. The taste is also light with a hoppy carbonation. This beer has almost no flavor or aroma. It is easy drinking though and just enough flavor to make it passable. Rated 10-5-2024
