A really good IPA, I've always favored southern hemisphere/New Zealand hops, the spicy, green, zippy quality is a nice change of pace to the normal citrus, malt, bitterness. The nose has lots of that familiar lemon and mint zingy quality that I love, there is a white wine and pink grapefruit component too as well as lemon peel, green grapes, and stone fruit. Good stuff.

this is absolutely great, one of the best ive had from vice beer so far, who i am seeing around boise more and more lately, this is really good. motueka and peacharine in this, a righteous new zealand combo that totally make it for me, a little heavy maybe as it warms, starchy, and it could take a bit more carbonation, but i can live with that for this elite and distinctive hop profile, i am always seeking new sensations in these, and its such a samey style now, this really struck me as different and modern, the quality of the hops is high, the dosing and timing is good, but the varietals themselves just pop in here, insanely fresh too. some sort of ska reference in the name i reckon, i might have known it 20 years ago but i dont know now. this is heavy yellow, the white head from the tap is airy but very short lived, and this ends up looking just a tad soupy to me after a minute. the nose is the best part of this, and i know that because my wife made me laugh so hard i inhaled my first sip into my sinuses, so i have probably smelled this more thoroughly than anyone, and i loved it. huge ripe stone fruit, green melon, and white wine grapes, along with candied lemon, lemon curd, and muddled lemongrass, its fruity and botanical and super pungent, subtle fuel character, earthy grain, sticky resinous character, and low bitterness. the flavor is all of this, a little less intense but with a long central flavor climax that peaks with super summery tangerine, papaya, and even like a menthol thing, bold and very fresh, some sweetness elevating the hops and carrying them past the swallow, and it gets even more turned up as it warms some. serious white wine, key lime, white peach, and dried florals too, lots going on from these two hops, definitely at their best, and the grain flavor works well with it, just feels a touch fuller than it needs to, and sags without more bubbles, but the overall hop profile here is about as good as it gets, the peacharine brings a lot, and it has me eager for more beers like this that use it. not to be missed for those, who like me, get frustrated at how everyone always seems to be doing the same thing with their hazy beer...
