The biggest of the Scotch Ale family, Wee Heavies are malt forward with big notes of dark fruit and caramelized sugars built on top of a bready base. Warming alcohol adds complexity with a very mild hop profile lending subtle notes of cedar, herbs and fruit. An English Ale yeast completes the picture further adding layers of fruity esters.
