12oz can. Super strange beer. The can calls it a dark cream ale. Looks like a dunkel or schwarzbier. Has a nice roasted malt taste with a hint of coffee and caramel. It's good but not sure how it's a cream ale.

On tap and Brood & Barely in North Little Rock, they said this was a "black cream ale" and the Point Remove Brewing website confirms that is how they are describing it. I guess a Schwarzbier is an OK category to put this in, cause otherwise I don't know what the hell this would be (except its not a lager ha).
A: Pours a black color with ruby red/browns around the edges. A small tannish head tries to form, but recedes to nothing in a second. No lace left behind.
S: A very neutral aroma of cereal grain and toast. Yeah, that is it.
T: Follows the nose with cereal grains and "soggy toast" if that can be a thing. Not enjoying this.
M/O: A paper thin and watery body. Generously saying moderate carbonation, but no real definition, body wise. Just kind of there and wet. Blah, not wanting to finish this one.
This is very bare bones and not very appealing. The style its already muddled, but even considering that, just not a very well made offering in my book.

They claim is has a cream ale bas, not really tasting or smelling that.
Pours an effervescent Chestnut with a pinky of tan head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Super roasty
T: Roastyness, a touch of sweetness & dryness up front, Dry, roasty & a bit of Chicory as this warms. Finishes dry, roasty. with a little corny sweetness & a little pine
MF: Body is a touch thin, restrained carbonation
Drinks okay, but the lack of body is killing this
