A profound aroma of pine and sweet fruit extends to the nose. We showered our kettle in Ekuanot and Chinook to create a taste that's resinous but also juicy. We then double dry hopped with the Chinook and Ekuanot as well.

On draught at Meyers Lighthouse in Ocean View, New Jersey (hence the name). Served in a shaker glass. There is nothing special about its appearance: it's a dense, bright orange color with virtually no head and minimal lacing. But the smell redeems it; a nice, fruity nose featuring tangerine, lemon, pine, and soft floral hops. The taste opens with significant bitterness. There is tart lemon, grapefruit rind, and pine sap, along with sweeter tangerine and tropical fruit in the background. The bill of Ekuanot and Chinook hops is simple but effective. There is pronounced, clean bitterness throughout. This ale is medium-bodied with appropriate carbonation, and it drinks easily at 7% ABV. Overall, Ocean View is a great introduction to Meyers Brewing. I'm looking forward to drinking many of of its beers.
