Pint pour on draught at Meyers Lighthouse. Served in a shaker glass. It pours a hazy, bright lemon-yellow with just a ring of ecru-colored foam and spotty lacing. The smell includes lemon, grapefruit, pine needles, and a whiff of tangerine and some other sweet fruit. Its taste is quite bitter with lemon and lime peel, grapefruit rind, and pine sap over a dry, crackery malt base. As it warms there are some sweeter notes of tangerine and perhaps pineapple. The mouth feel is lite and clean with pleasant carbonation and it is very drinkable at 6% ABV. Overall, Sandbar is a solid summertime NEIPA. It would be ideal to drink during a round of mini golf at the Lighthouse Brewery's refurbished course.
