West Coast IPA with Columbus, Centennial, Citra, and Simcoe hops in the kettle and dry hop. Notes of pine resin and citrus forward fruit and a tasteful amount of bitterness.

On draught at the brewery. It pours a clear, bright golden color with a thin, ecru cap and modest lacing. The nose offers citrus and pine needles. Its taste is appropriate for the style: grapefruit rind, lemon peel, and pine sap over a dry, crackery malt base. It has really nice depth of flavor. This ale is lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation, and the 6/6% ABV allows for easy drinking. Overall, Brother Esau is a solid West Coast IPA. I would gladly drink it again.
