Broken Tee Brewing Company

I love it when they're literally just across the street from the Metra station. Love it. One of those innumerable little brick commercial bungalows lining streets like Green Bay Road apparently holds a little brewery, who knew? Inside, it's mostly painted brick in neutrals and the usual brewery sights of miscellaneous tables, brewing equipment, and a couple of screens. My visit was too short to know if there was all that much more beyond the bar for sure, but I do think there was some patio seating out back, if my admittedly beer-hazed memory holds. The range isn't all that expansive, mostly leaning toward a few IPAs and mild lagers, and nothing really stands out as exceptional (nor does anything disgust, so that's a plus). The bartender was friendly, seemed to know what he needed to know. Cannot comment on any food that may or may not be on offer. I'm not sure I'm gonna be headed back here any time soon, especially with any excitement or eagerness, but if I find myself in the area, I'm not gonna spurn the place (at least, not yet). Worth a shot in that situation, if nothing else.

Service at the bar was great. The bartender was friendly and another staff member stopped by to chat.

Selection was pretty good, 7 beers total: Italian Pilsner, Light Lager, Blackberry kettle sour, Witbier, Session IPA, single hop IPA, and NEIPA. They fill howlers, no cans currently.

Did not try the food. Overall it was a good experience, beers were decent and it was a chill place to hang out.
