Gift from the Old Man after his trip up the east coast of Australia. It was drunk in September 2022.
A golden, slightly hazy yellow in the glass. A bright-white, fluffy head persists well into the glass, with evident carbonation. Lacing is left down the glass.
The smell is spritzy lemon and grapefruit. Really nice.
There's mild grapefruit with tangy fruity, lemony vibes. This is followed by sweet melon (honeydew and canteloupe) at the end, with that last impression lingering after the swallow.
Mouthfeel is soft and mildly carbonated.
Overall, this is a lovely, fruity, easy-drinking beer, with enough interest in the taste to have me going back for another. Well done!
